Brandon’S Birthday Brownies
- 1/2 cups Butter, Melted
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1/2 cups Flour
- 1/3 cups Cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt

- FOR THE FROSTING:
- 3 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
- 3 Tablespoons Cocoa
- 1 Tablespoon Agave Nectar (or Honey)
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 1.teat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9" square baking dish. Stir together melted butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Set aside. Relax and enjoy the beautiful day as you continue to step #2.
- 2.ttir together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt and gradually add to the egg mixture, beating until well blended.
- 3. Spread into the pan and bake for 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean and it smells like yummy brownies in your kitchen.
- 3.to make the super easy frosting, beat butter, cocoa, agave, and vanilla until blended. Add powdered sugar and milk. Beat to spreading consistency. Try not to eat it directly out of the bowl. It is tempting, but you don't want naked brownies, do you? Of course, a little taste won't hurt anything! Cook's privilege in our house.
- 4.tpread the (remaining) frosting while the brownies are still warm but not hot. Let frosting set.
- 5. Cut into squares and enjoy with ice cream, birthday decorations and your loved ones.
