Peanut Butter And Jelly Rice Krispie Treats
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 10 ounces, weight Bag Of Miniature Marshmallows
- 1/2 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 6 cups Rice Krispie Cereal
- 1/2 cups Jelly (I Used Grape)
- Heat one stick of butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring very often. Once completely melted stir in the marshmallows until smooth. Then remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter, vanilla, and salt until combined. Once it forms a smooth, light brown mixture stir in the Rice Krispie cereal until evenly coated.
- Place 1/2 of the mixture in a lightly greased 9x13 inch pan then spread the jelly evenly over the top. Then, pour the other 1/2 of the mixture on top of the jelly and push down with the bottom of a large spoon until evenly distributed and flat. Let it cool completely (about 45 minutes) or stick it in the fridge to speed up the process.
