Cranberry Liqueur
- 1 bag (12 Oz. Bag) Fresh Cranberries
- 1-1/2 cup Water
- 1-1/2 cup Sugar
- 3 cups Vodka
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- Place cranberries in the freezer.
- Make a simple syrup by combining water and sugar in small sauce pan over low heat. Heat and stir until all of the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool.
- Place frozen cranberries in a food processor and pulse until berries are well chopped. Place chopped cranberries in a 1- or 2-gallon glass jar. Pour your simple syrup over the berries.
- Pour vodka over berries. Add cinnamon if desired. Place the lid tightly on the jar and shake well.
- Set the jar in a cool dark place, shaking ocasionally over the next three to four weeks. Strain liqueur through cheesecloth and place in clean glass bottles. Discard chopped cranberries.
- Enjoy on the rocks, in margaritas, or with a lemon lime soda mixer.
