Heavenly Christmas Candy
- 12 ounces, weight Milk Chocolate Chips
- 12 ounces, weight Butterscotch Chips
- 12 ounces, weight Peanut Butter Chips
- 10 ounces, weight Maraschino Cherries
- 4 ounces, weight Walnuts
- 1/2 bags (10 Oz. Bag) Colored Mini Marshmallows
- In a double boiler, melt the three kinds of baking chips together, stirring frequently, until combined and completely melted.
- In the meantime, drain and roughly chop the maraschino cherries. Squeeze out excess liquid with paper towels.
- Roughly chop walnuts, then toss with the cherries. Set aside.
- Lightly spray the bottom and sides of a 9x13 baking pan with nonstick spray. Pour a thin layer of melted chocolate mixture into the pan, covering the bottom. Work quickly, tilting the pan for full coverage. Return chocolate mix to the boiler to keep warm.
- Sprinkle the cherry/walnut mix evenly over the chocolate, then add the flavored mini marshmallows. Lightly press them into the chocolate.
- Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the top, making sure you get at least some coverage on all the filling.
- Store in the refrigerator until firm.
- For easy removal, put about 4 inches of very hot water in your sink, then lay the pan in the water for a few minutes. Invert over waxed paper, then cut into 1-inch squares.
