Plum And Cinnamon Crumble

  1. Preheat the oven to 190u0b0C (Gas Mark 5 / 375u0b0F).
  2. Halve the plums and remove the stones. Cut each half into about 3 segments. Lay these in the bottom of a small ovenproof dish, and stir in half of the caster sugar and all of the lemon juice.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining sugar, flour, cinnamon and oats, and rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  4. Pour the crumble over the plums, and top with a little extra sugar and cinnamon if desired. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the plum juice is bubbling up around the sides.
