Tossed Salad
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 1 large cucumber
- 1 large tomato
- 1 large onion
- 6 large radishes
- 1 chopped green pepper (optional)
- 1/2 c. chopped black olives
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/2 c. wine vinegar or to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- Break lettuce into bite-size pieces.
- Peel cucumber (optional).
- Slice very thin.
- Chop tomato into bite-size morsels. Chop onion or slice very thin (amount varies to individual taste).
- Slice radishes very thin.
- Chop pepper.
- Add black olives.
- Toss with hands to mix thoroughly.
- Season to taste.
- Add wine vinegar and olive oil.
- Let stand 5 to 10 minutes to marinate before serving with spaghetti and meatballs.
