Labella Lasagna
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. tomatoes
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 c. Ricotta or cream-style cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked and rinsed in cold water
- Mix first 8 ingredients and cook 1/2 hour.
- Mix cheese and eggs with salt and pepper.
- Layer, starting with sauce, then noodles, then Mozzarella cheese, then cheese mixture; repeat layers.
- Bake 20 minutes, covered, and 20 minutes, uncovered, at 350u0b0.
