Congo Bars
- 1 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
- 1/4 cups Flour
- 1/3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/3 cups Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1 stick Butter, Melted
- 3/4 cups Sweetened, Condensed Milk
- 1/4 cups Coconut, Sweet And Flaked (see Blog Link For Note)
- 1/4 cups Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cups Bittersweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 cups Almonds, Rough Chopped
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
- Use a food processor to grind the crackers into crumbs. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar. Pulse to combine. Pour in the melted butter. Pulse to combine.
- Press the crust mixture into a 9 x 9 glass baking pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0F for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl, fold together the sweetened condensed milk, coconut, both chocolates, and the nuts.
- Spread evenly over the crust.
- Bake at 350u0b0F for 20 minutes more.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares and enjoying with a cold glass of milk.
