Coconut Bars With Macadamia Nuts And White Chocolate
- 2-2/3 cups All-purpose Flour
- 2 cups Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Shredded Sweetened Coconut
- 1 cup Butter, Cut Into Chunks
- 12 ounces, weight White Chocolate Chips
- 1-1/2 cup Macadamia Nuts
- Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Prepare a 9x13" pan with baking spray.
- In the bowl of a food processor, combine all of the dry ingredients and the coconut. Add the butter and pulse until crumbly.
- Add the crumbly dough to the prepared pan.
- By hand, mix in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
- Flatten the dough with a heavy spatula. Bake the bars for about 40 minutes. The bars will be golden brown on the top.
- Let the bars cool completely. When they are all the way cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Slice (with a very sharp knife!) into bars and serve!
