Peas & Pasta Salad
- 16 ounces, weight Bow Tie Pasta
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt (For Boiling Pasta Water)
- 12 ounces, weight Frozen Peas (can Use Fresh Peas If Seasonally Available To You)
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Salt
- 1 teaspoon Parsley Flakes, Or Fresh Chopped Parsley
- 2 pinches Allspice
- 2 pinches Smoked Paprika
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1/4 cups Grated Carrot
- 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
- In boiling salted water, add pasta and cook per package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool.
- In a mixing bowl, add cooled bow tie pasta, peas, and seasonings. Stir with a spatula. Set aside.
- In a smaller bowl, add sour cream, grated carrot, and mayonnaise. Stir well, then add to bow tie pasta bowl. Mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
- This is a wonderful side dish to grilled meat. Hope you enjoy!
