Creamy Cucumbers
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cups Evaporated Canned Milk
- 1/4 cups Vinegar--cider Or White
- 1/4 cups Sugar
- 3 drops Tabasco Sauce (or To Taste)
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Onion Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- Salt, To Taste (optional)
- 5 whole Medium Sized Cucumbers
- In a liquid measuring glass, blend together mayonnaise, evaporated milk, vinegar, sugar, Tabasco, garlic salt, onion salt, and pepper. Taste and add additional salt and/or Tabasco if desired. Set sauce aside.
- Peel and thinly slice cucumbers and place in a large bowl. Pour sauce ingredients over cucumbers and mix well, ensuring all cucumbers are covered in sauce.
- Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to serving.
- Note: the sauce will become runny as a result of the cucumber's weeping water. This is how the sauce is supposed to be. Just serve with a slotted spoon and you're set.
