Linguini With Clam Sauce

  1. Drain broth from clams.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, heat oil and margarine.
  4. Add garlic.
  5. Saute 1 minute.
  6. Sprinkle in flour and cook, stirring constantly 1 minute.
  7. Add clam broth, parsley, salt, pepper and lemon peel.
  8. Simmer 10 minutes.
  9. Add clams and heat.
  10. Toss with hot cooked linguini.
  11. Serve with cheese, if desired.
  12. Serves 2 large portions or 4 small side dishes.
