Java Chip Cookies
- FOR THE COOKIES:
- 1/2 cups White Sugar
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Butter, Softened
- 1 whole Egg, Room Temperature
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1-1/2 cup Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Finely Ground Coffee
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 bag (12 Oz. Bag) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

- FOR THE ICING:
- 1/4 cups Hot Coffee
- 1-1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- Mix together the white sugar, brown sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy.
- Beat in flour, coffee, baking soda, and salt on low speed. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls on a parchment-paper-covered cookie sheet and bake at 350u0b0F for 12 minutes. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
- While the cookies are cooling, whip up that icing. Make some coffee, and mix 1/4 cup of it with powdered sugar until desired icing consistency is reached. Pour the icing in a plastic bag, snip off the very tip and make some designs on the cookies.
- Warning: Very important-do not skip this step: pour a tall glass of milk and enjoy!
