Quick And Easy Skillet Chowder

  1. Heat garlic butter and oil in large skillet.
  2. I like to use my electric skillet for this. Add the potatoes and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until tender.
  3. This usually takes about 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Add corn, bacon, half & half, white pepper, paprika, salt and chives.
  5. Continue cooking over low heat for about 5 minutes or until mixture is slightly thickened.
  6. If desired, sprinkle a little cheese over the top of each serving.
