Pie With No Name
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 2 whole Eggs, Slightly Beaten
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Ghirardelli Chocolate Semi-Sweet Baking Chips
- 1 cup Pecans, Chopped
- 1 whole Thawed, Uncooked Pie Shell
- Preheat oven to 320 F.
- You will need a thawed unbaked 9" pie shell (or make your own).
- Melt the butter either on the stove over low heat or for a few seconds in the microwave. Once it's melted, remove from heat and allow it to cool. Then lightly beat in eggs and vanilla until creamy.
- Stir the sugar and flour together in a small bowl then slowly beat it into the butter mixture until smooth.
- By hand, stir in baking chips and pecans.
- Pour the batter into the unbaked pie shell and bake for one hour being careful not to burn edges of the crust or the pecans.
- If you need to keep baking but your crust edges are already lightly golden, wrap tin foil around edges.
- Allow to cool before eating.
- Best served with Pioneer Woman's Vanilla Bean ice cream.
