- 1-1/2 stick Butter, Softened
- FOR THE APPLE CIDER CREAM CHEESE:
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 3/4 ounces, weight Dry Apple Cider Mix (from A Packet)
- 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/4 cups Sugar
- FOR THE TOPPINGS:
- 2 whole Medium Granny Smith Apples, Peeled, Cored And Sliced
- Fruit Fresh Or Lemon Juice, Just Enough To Sprinkle On The Apples
- 1/2 sticks Butter, Softened
- 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/3 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cups Quick Oats
- Caramel Ice Cream Topping
- For the crust:
- Preheat oven to 350 F. In a medium-sized bowl mix flour, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 1/2 sticks butter until smooth. Press the dough into a medium/large sized pizza pan or just roll it into a circle on a pizza stone. Bake 12 minutes at 350 F or until golden brown. Remove it from the oven and allow it to cool a bit. Then loosen the crust from the stone with the back of a large bread knife. Set aside.
- For the apple cider cream cheese layer:
- Mix softened cream cheese with cider powder, cinnamon and sugar until smooth. Spread it onto the cooled crust.
- For the toppings:
- Preheat your broiler. Peel, core and slice apples and place them on top of the cream cheese layer. If you have some, you can sprinkle the apples with Fruit Fresh to keep them from browning. Put the butter, flour, cinnamon, brown sugar and quick oats into a medium sized bowl and use a fork to mix and blend together. Sprinkle this on top of the apples.
- Broil for 2 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Let it cool some before placing pizza in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
- If desired, drizzle pizza with caramel ice cream topping before cutting and serving.
