Double Treat Peanut Butter Cookies
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. shortening or butter
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, cream shortening; add sugars beating until light and fluffy.
- Blend in peanut butter gradually.
- Add vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients, beat until blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Cool 1 minute and remove from pan.
