Pomegranate Mojito
- Juice From 1/2 A Lime
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- Handful Of Mint Leaves
- Pomegranate Seeds
- Ice
- 1 ounce, fluid Light (white) Rum
- 1 ounce, fluid Pomegranate Juice
- Club Soda
- Rimming Sugar
- Rim glass with lime juice and dip in mojito sugar (can be bought in most grocery stores now).
- Then, in a tall glass (pint glass works well) put:
- Juice from 1/2 a Lime
- 2 Tbls Sugar
- Handful of Mint Leaves (left whole or ripped up)
- *Optional: Add a few pomegranate seeds (or leave out if you want a classic mojito)
- ---------
- Muddle/Smash together at the bottom of the glass
- Fill glass with ice
- ---------
- Pour on:
- 1 oz Light (white) Rum
- 1 oz Pomegranate Juice (or replace this with any type of juice you like...pear is yummy too)...or just leave this step out if you want just a plain classic mojito.
- Fill the rest of the glass with Club Soda
- STIR WELL to dissolve sugar and garnish with a sprig of mint. Serve with a cocktail straw for stirring.
