Quick Chili-Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1-1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1-1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Butter, Unsalted And At Room Temperature
- 1/4 cups Olive Oil
- 1 whole Egg, Room Temperature
- 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- Preheat oven to 350 F (190 C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, red chili powder, baking soda, baking powder, chocolate chips and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together butter, oil, egg, both sugars and vanilla. Now add flour mixture into the wet mixture and mix using a spatula till a smooth dough-like texture is attained.
- Now using a tablespoon, make round balls about 3/4 to 1 inch in size. Space them about 2 inches apart on a parchment paper-lined baking tray and bake for 8 minutes. Then remove the tray from the oven. Cool for 2 minutes on baking tray and then transfer cookies to a wire rack to continue cooling.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
