Cherry Almond White Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1-2/3 cup All-purpose Flour
- 3/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3/4 cups Butter
- 3/4 cups Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Cherry Juice Infused Craisins (or Dried Cherries)
- 1/2 cups Slivered Almonds
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0F.
- Mix all of the dry ingredients into a sifter/strainer over a small bowl (flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt) and sift into the bowl.
- In a large bowl, add the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla extract and beat until creamy. Beat in the egg. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamy mixture using a wooden spoon. Add the white chocolate chips, dried cherries/Craisins, and almonds and mix well.
- Spoon rounded tablespoon-sized balls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, 1 inch or so apart. Place in the oven for 9 to 11 minutes, or until cookies start to brown around the edges. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes on the cookie sheet. Then remove to a wire cooling rack to finish cooling.
