Quick-Fix Snack Cake
- 1 box Cook-n-serve Chocolate Pudding
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Chopped Nuts
- Make the pudding according to the package directions. Once thickened add the DRY cake mix. Batter will be thick and airy.
- Spread into a greased 13x9 cake pan. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips and any nuts you desire.
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
- Many variations:
- Butterscotch pudding and yellow cake mix. Add butterscotch chips and chopped pecans.
- Lemon pudding and white cake mix. Add slivered almonds and drizzle with a glaze made of 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice - more or less to taste.
- Banana cream pudding and spice cake mix. Add chopped walnuts.
- Vanilla pudding and yellow cake mix. Use 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup peanut butter chips.
