Bubba'S Red Beans And Rice
- 2 cans New Orleans style red kidney beans
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. ground chuck
- 3/4 c. Minute rice
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. small, sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. sliced black olives (canned with liquid)
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 c. beef bouillon
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- Mix beans and water in a very large pot; bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to medium; stir in ground chuck, onions, mushrooms, olives and celery.
- Cook over medium heat until meat is done.
- Add bouillon, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
- Turn heat to high and bring to a boil. When mixture reaches a vigorous boil, turn off heat.
- Stir in rice, cover pot and let stand until cool enough to serve.
- Serves 2 Bubbas or 5 regular people.
