Meatballs In Mustard Sauce
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 twists of pepper mill
- 1 tsp. Accent
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3 c. meat stock
- 2 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cocoa
- Mix hamburger with the flour, salt and pepper.
- Add the Accent and mix thoroughly.
- Melt butter or margarine in a deep skillet. Form ground meat into meatballs about the size of golf balls. Place in skillet and cook until they're golden brown.
- Add meat stock and simmer 10 minutes.
- Remove approximately 3/4 cup of broth and stir mustard, brown sugar and cocoa in it.
- Return to meat mixture and simmer again.
- Baste meatballs with sauce.
- Serve with plain boiled potatoes or with boiled rice.
- This also goes well with buttered noodles.
