Kahlua Chocolate Almond Squares
- FOR THE BARS:
- 1-1/4 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 cups Softened Butter
- 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1/4 cups Kahlua Liqueur
- 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cups Toasted Slivered Almonds
- 1 Tablespoon Kahlua For Topping

- FOR THE FROSTING:
- 8 ounces, weight Bar Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/2 cups Cool Whip Topping
- 1 Tablespoon Kahlua
- 1-1/2 cup Icing Sugar
- Bars:
- Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Cream butter, sugar, and egg together. Into the creamed mixture, stir in the Kahlua then flour mixture, blending well. Fold in chocolate chips and almonds.
- Spread into a greased 7x11 pan. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes. When cool, brush top with 1 tablespoon Kahlua.
- When cold, spread with frosting.
- Frosting
- Beat all ingredients together until fluffy.
