Homemade Cranberry Sauce

  1. Spray a large baking dish with cooking spray and fill it with the fresh cranberries. Add the sugar and cinnamon, stir well to combine.
  2. Cover tightly with foil and place a lid on top. (This will splatter while in the oven, so make sure to at least cover it tightly with foil.)
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  4. While cranberries are still hot, stir in the sweet orange marmalade (I recommend Smucker's; others I have tried were too bitter) and the lemon juice.
  5. Stir well to combine, cover and cool completely. (This can be done the day before and allowed to sit, covered, on the counter overnight.)
  6. Stir before spooning into a serving dish.
