Mexican Franks

  1. Fry tortillas 1 at a time in 1/4-inch hot oil for 3 to 5 seconds on each side or just until softened.
  2. Drain on paper towels; set aside.
  3. Combine chili, 1/4 cup tomato sauce, onion and hot sauce.
  4. Place a frankfurter in center of each tortilla; top with 2 tablespoons chili mixture.
  5. Roll up and place seam side down in lightly greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
  6. Repeat procedure with remaining tortillas; set aside.
  7. Combine remaining tomato sauce and remaining chili mixture; pour over tortillas. Sprinkle with chiles.
  8. Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese; bake 5 additional minutes. Yields 10 servings.
