The Best Salad

  1. Freeze Gorgonzola cheese.
  2. Rinse lettuce; set aside to thoroughly dry.
  3. Mince garlic and place it with olive oil in a container with a tight fitting lid.
  4. Shake oil and garlic vigorously and chill.
  5. Chop lettuce for salad and chill in large salad bowl.
  6. Finely crumble the frozen Gorgonzola cheese into small container and return to freezer.
  7. Pour oil and garlic mixture over lettuce; toss well.
  8. Sprinkle vinegar, salt and Accent over lettuce; toss well.
  9. Sprinkle half of Gorgonzola cheese over lettuce; toss.
  10. Top remaining Gorgonzola cheese over salad.
  11. Garnish with black olives.
  12. Chill and serve on chilled plates.
