Boston Lettuce With Taucu & Garlic
- 3 cloves Garlic, Sliced
- 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1 head Boston Lettuce, Individual Leaves Peeled And Cleaned
- 1 Tablespoon Taucu Paste (fermented Bean Paste)
- Into a cold skillet add sliced garlic and oil. Heat the mixture over medium heat and fry garlic slices until golden. Be careful that they don't burn. Remove slices from the skillet and set aside.
- Crank up heat to high and add lettuce leaves into the skillet. Stir around quickly for about 1 minute. Leaves will turn bright green and wilt slightly. Then remove the pan from the heat and put the lettuce onto your serving platter.
- Drop taucu paste into the pan juices and stir to thin down until it comes to a simmer, for only 10-15 seconds.
- Pour sauce over lettuce and scatter garlic slices over it.
