Party Sangria
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 4 cups Cranberry Juice
- 1/4 cups Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ginger
- 1 bottle Dry White Wine, 750 Ml
- 1 bottle Dry Red Wine, 750 Ml
- 4 whole Oranges
- 3 whole Lemons
- 3 whole Limes
- 1 bottle Lemon-lime Soda, 1 Liter Bottle, To Taste
- Stir the sugar and ginger into the juices until it is disolved.
- Combine the wines in either a punch bowl or very large pitcher. Add the juice/sugar mixture and stir.
- Wash and then slice the citrus fruit and drop into the liquid mixture. Stir.
- Add lemon-lime soda to taste (I usually add the soda directly to the serving glass-2/3 sangria, 1/3 soda).
- Serve over lots of ice.
- Note: If you want the sangria more diluted you can add up to 6 cups of cranberry juice- if you do this, add an additional 2 Tablespoons of sugar. Otherwise, stick with 4 cups of juice.
- This is very easily doubled or tripled. For parties, mix the juices and sugar in a pitcher and keep them in the fridge-then when it's time to replenish the punch bowl it is easy to add the juice with the wine.
- Also, servings are approximate-it depends on the size of your glass!
