Autumn Cinammon Cookies
- 2 cups Flour, Sifted
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Cinammon, More Or Less To Taste
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt, (cooks Fine Without It)
- 1/2 cups Soft Butter
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- 2 Tablespoons Milk, Or A Tad More If Needed (I Add A Tad More)
- Preheat oven to 4ooF.
- Mix dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients. Mix well. This is were you may need to add a tad more milk as it can seem a bit dry. I use 1% milk so this may be why I have to add a tad more, I am not sure.
- Use an ungreased pan. Form cookie dough into balls and then flatten-but not too thin, for moist cookies. I sprinkle sugar on top for my hubby and children.
- Bake about 8 minutes or longer if you like them crunchy. Cool on a rack.
- Decorate if desired. We like to put cream cheese icing or regular icing on the top.
