Easy Salsa Fresca Marinade

  1. Makes about 2 cups.
  2. 1. First things, first. Make sure any and all produce is washed and dried.
  3. 2. In a food processor, add onion and garlic. Process about 15 seconds, stop, scrape down, and process again.
  4. 3. Next, add tomatoes, lime juice, olive oil, cilantro, salt, honey, and chile flakes. Process 1-2 minutes, or until everything is thoroughly combined.
  5. 4. Like stated earlier, you can rub this over meat, veggies, tofu, or fish and allow to marinate a few hours, in the fridge. Once you're ready, you can either bake as is, or lightly brush off and grill away!
  6. Save some and store for dipping later on!
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Also great spooned into black beans or brown rice, or eaten with freshly made tortilla chips!
