Healthy Banana Bread
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1/2 cups Honey
- 3/4 cups Apple Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1-1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3/4 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 3 whole Ripe Bananas, Medium
- 1 cup Walnut
- 1/8 cups Bran
- 1/8 cups Wheat Germ, More For Sprinkled Garnish
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the eggs, honey, apple sauce, vanilla extract, and stir until all ingredients have been well combined. Add the whole wheat flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon together and stir until the bread dough has come together. One at a time, beat in the bananas and fold in the walnuts, bran, and wheat germ.
- Take a well greased or sprayed 9x5 baking loaf pan and pour in the batter; garnish with some sprinkles of wheat germ (optional). Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes. When the bread comes out, drizzle with a little honey and sprinkle with wheat germ if you want. Allow to cool before serving.
