Cheese And Bacon Bread Sticks
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- 1-1/2 cup Hot Water
- 4 cups White Flour
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Yeast
- 1 pound Bacon, Uncooked
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese (I Used Farmer's Marble But Feel Free To Use Cheddar)
- Place all your bread ingredients into breadmaker in order listed. That's everything on the ingredients list up to the bacon. Don't add that or the cheese. Turn your breadmaker to dough cycle and then start it and leave.
- Once your dough is completed take out of your bread machine and cut off golf size balls of dough. Roll into strips.
- Take a few tablespoons of cheese at a time and roll the strip of dough into the shredded cheese - make sure to coat well with the cheese. Then take one strip of raw bacon and roll it around the breadstick.
- I didn't let mine rise again, just popped them into the oven at 350F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Store in airtight container.
- You may think cooking the bacon raw would leave the dough really greasy but it doesn't.
