Mache Salad With Strawberries, Blue Cheese And Crushed Hazelnuts With Balsamic Vinaigrette
- FOR THE VINAIGRETTE:
- 1/8 cups Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 Tablespoons Sherry Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoons Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/8 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- 1/8 teaspoons Freshly Ground Pepper

- FOR THE SALAD:
- 1 bunch Mache (or Other Baby Lettuce)
- 1 bunch Strawberries (a Handful Or Two, To Your Liking)
- 1/4 cups Blue Cheese Crumbles
- 1/8 cups Hazelnuts Or Macadamia Nuts
- Combine vinaigrette ingredients in a mason jar and shake until mixed. Adjustments can be made to suit your taste.
- Place washed and dried mache (or other baby lettuce) on plate.
- In a separate container, add strawberries and blue cheese and toss them with the dressing. Place atop mache and sprinkle with crushed nuts (once you've measured out the nuts, place them in a partially sealed Ziploc bag and lightly beat with a knife handle to crush them). Enjoy!
