Homemade Breakfast Sausage
- 1 pound Ground Chicken, Pork, Turkey Or Beef
- 1 Tablespoon Turbinado Sugar Or Real Maple Syrup
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Sage, Sliced Thin (or 1 Teaspoon Dried)
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/8 teaspoons Dried Marjoram
- 1/8 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 pinch Ground Clove
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil Or Peanut Oil
- 1. Place the chicken and all spices in a large bowl.
- 2. Mix well and form into patties.
- 3. Heat coconut oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Saute the patties for 5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Serve warm and enjoy!
- Note: You can also cook it in the pan as a crumbled sausage. To make this Italian style, substitute the sage for Italian seasonings and double the red pepper flakes.
