Green Apple, Jalapeno And Cheddar Omelet
- 3 whole Egg Whites
- 1 whole Egg (yolk Included)
- 1/2 whole Green Apple, Sliced Thinly, Leave Skin On
- 1/4 cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
- 1 whole Fresh Jalapeno, Chopped, Seeded And Membraned
- Heat a nonstick frying pan on medium heat.
- Whisk together egg whites and whole egg. Pour into the pan. Once omelet starts to set (is done around the edges and bubbling slightly in the center), place apple slices in a line in the center of the omelet. Sprinkle apples with cheese and jalapeno. Fold over sides of the omelet so it kind of looks like a burrito. After 1 minute, carefully flip and continue to cook for 1 more minute. Remove from the pan, garnish with any remaining cheese, apple slices, and jalapenos (if you have any left)!
- You do not have to use the egg combo that I do. You can use 2-3 whole eggs, 4-5 egg whites, or egg substitute. I just happen to love the 3:1 texture and color!
