Salted Caramel Fondue
- 2 bags (14 Oz. Size) Kraft Caramels
- 1 can (5 Oz. Size) Evaporated Milk
- 1 bag (10 Oz. Size) Miniature Marshmallows
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- This recipe will yield about 4 cups of fondue. Use your favorite treats for dipping such as pound cake, frozen cheesecake bites, pretzels, apple slices, ginger bread, apple bread, apple cake, oatmeal cookies, and even banana bread.
- Unwrap caramels and place in a large microwave safe dish. Add the milk and microwave a minute at a time, stirring after each minute, until carmels melt, forming a smooth sauce. Then add the marshmallows and stir into the warm sauce until they are melted and well blended. Microwave another minute if needed to fully melt the marshmallows. Then add the salt and transfer fondue to a mini crock pot or a fondue pot.
- If there are any leftovers, mixture can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated later in the microwave by cooking a minute at a time and stirring after each minute until mixture is smooth and creamy.
