  1. Heat oven to 375u0b0.

  5. Mix flour,

  8. and sugar in a large bowl until well blended.
  9. Cuttn butter with a pastry blender or two knives until
  10. mixture

  12. coarse crumbs.
  13. Beat eggs and vanilla with fork
  14. in a small bowl until foamy;
  15. stir into flour mixture until well blended.
  16. Drop half the dough by heaping tablespoonfuls into
  17. prepared
  18. pan.

  21. a flat layer with greased fingers
  22. (dough
  23. will
  24. be sticky).tpread evenly with jelly; drop
  25. 1/2
  26. teaspoonfuls peanut butter over jelly.
  27. Spoon remaining dough
  28. over
  29. top.
  30. Bake

  32. 30 to 35 minutes until brown.
  33. Cool intan on rack until warm.
  34. Cut in 2 x 1-inch bars.
  35. Store covered.
  36. Makes 48 bars.
