Grand Marnier French Toast

  1. Heat 2 cups skim milk.
  2. Put in large bowl.
  3. Add 4 tablespoons sugar (somewhat more if you want a slightly sweeter taste).
  4. Add 2 eggs (or 3 egg whites/no yolks, if you want to lower your LDL cholesterol).
  5. Carefully add 1 tablespoon cardamon.
  6. Stir.
  7. Mixture should be warm (just about body temperature if you have a high fever).
  8. Add 1 package yeast.
  9. Add 2 or 3 cups flour and 1 cup whole oats.
  10. Mix well and let rise several hours.
