Better Than Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 sticks Butter, Softened
- 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1-1/4 cup Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2-1/4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1-1/2 cup Milk Chocolate Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Line a cookie sheet or two with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl using a mixer, cream butter, cream cheese, sugars and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs and combine. Add the dry ingredients (flour through salt) and mix until combined. Add the chocolate chips and stir until combined.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet using a medium cookie scoop, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 F for 16 minutes. Remove pan from oven and set it on a rack. Let cookies cool on the pan for about 3-5 minutes before removing them to cool off completely on a baking rack.
- Makes approximately 48 cookies.
