Sausage Cheese Bread
- 1 loaf Bread Dough
- 1 stick Salted Butter, Melted
- 1 pound Sausage, Browned And Drained
- 12 ounces, weight Provolone Cheese
- 6 ounces, weight Mozzarella Cheese
- Italian Seasonings
- Use your favorite bread dough recipe; make it up, cover with cloth and let it rise until it double in size.
- Roll the dough out into a rectangular shape (about 10" x 14"). Spread most of the melted butter over the dough (save a little for the top of the loaf). Sprinkle your favorite Italian seasonings (fresh or dried) over the melted butter. Don't be shy!
- Spread the cooked sausage and cheeses (grated or sliced) over dough.
- Starting at one of the 10" sides, roll up like a jelly roll, pinch ends together well and place the loaf seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle a little more seasoning on top.
- Let rise for 30-45 minutes.
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, brush with more butter if desired, slice and enjoy!
