Iced Coffee In A Hurry
- 2 cups Boiling Water
- 1/2 cups Instant Coffee Granules
- 1/4 cups Coffee Syrup (optional: You Can Also Substitute Your Favorite Creamer)
- 1-1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Whipped Cream, For Garnish (optional)
- Note: Prep and cook times include boiling the water. This recipe takes next to no time to mix together-it is that easy!
- Mix all ingredients (boiling water through sugar) together in a heat safe bowl or pitcher. Let it cool, then store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
- To serve: Mix 1/4 cup of the coffee mixture with 1 cup milk. Then add crushed ice and whipped cream as desired. I also like to swirl chocolate syrup on top for added garnish.
- I like to use decaf instant coffee for this because my daughters absolutely love this drink. They aren't big milk drinkers, so this is just another way for me to get a little more milk into them.
- The downside to them drinking it is that then I don't get to drink it all!
- My favorite thing about this mixture is that after it's mixed, I can store it in my fridge and pull it out anytime and have an iced coffee. Perfect for a hot summer day!
