Brussels Sprouts With Fresh Cranberries
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 Tablespoons Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 cups Thinly Sliced Onion
- 1 pound Brussels Sprouts, End Removed, Thinly Sliced
- 1/2 cups Fresh Cranberries
- 1 whole Orange, Zest And Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cups Pecans, Roughly Chopped
- In a skillet over medium heat add olive oil, garlic and onion. Cook for about 5 minutes or until tender. Add Brussels sprouts and cranberries. Mix together and cook until cranberries start to pop, about 5 minutes. Add orange zest and orange juice, mix well. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top and mix well. Stir until heated through.
- Add sprouts to a bowl and season with salt and pepper if desired. Toss in pecans. Serve warm.
