Sesame Leaves In Sesame Oil & Sesame Seed Marinade
- 8 ounces, weight Sesame Leaves, Washed Well
- 3 stalks Scallions, Sliced
- 5 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/4 cups Soy Sauce
- 1/3 cups Water
- 3 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
- 1 Tablespoon Korean Red Hot Pepper Flakes
- Place sesame leaves in a large pot.
- In a bowl, add scallions, garlic, soy sauce, water, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and Korean red hot pepper flakes. Mix well. Pour marinade into pot with sesame leaves. Place lid on pot and bring to a boil.
- Once marinade starts to boil, reduce flame to medium heat. Cook for 8-10 minutes (do not cook more than 10 minutes), and all the flavors of the marinade will be absorbed by the sesame leaves.
- Serve over rice.
