Chicken And Dressing Bake
- 1 c. water
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 (10 3/4 to 11 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 c. diced chicken
- 1 c. drained, cooked, chopped broccoli
- 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/4 c. butter/margarine
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 stalks chopped celery
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- In a 1-quart saucepan over high heat, heat water and butter to boiling.
- In large bowl, pour hot water over stuffing mix.
- Toss to mix well.
- Pat 1/2 of the stuffing mix into the bottom of a 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
- In a second bowl, stir together soup, mayo, milk, chicken, celery, broccoli and seasoning until well mixed. Spoon evenly over stuffing mix; top with remaining stuffing.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 30 minutes or until heated through.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 5 minutes more or until cheese is melted.
- Makes 6 servings.
