Crumb Cake Brownies
- FOR THE BROWNIES:
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1/2 cups Butter, Melted
- 1/2 cups Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/3 cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- FOR THE CRUMB TOPPING:
- 12 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 2 cups Flour
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray/grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Set aside.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar, vanilla, eggs and melted butter.
- 3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa powder.
- 4. Gradually add dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Blend until well combined.
- 5. Pour batter into prepared pan. Set aside.
- 6. For the topping:
- 7. In a medium-sized bowl whisk together melted butter, both sugars and cinnamon until smooth. Stir in flour gradually. Mix and separate with a fork until mixture is crumbly.
- 8. Sprinkle mixture on top of brownie batter.
- 9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove pan from oven and set on a rack.
- 10. Let brownies cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting
