Health Nut Cake
- 1-1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 cups Wheat Bran
- 1/2 cups Oat Bran
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons Allspice
- 1-1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1/2 cups Canola Oil
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 3 whole Overripe Bananas
- 1 cup Walnuts, Chopped
- 1/2 cups Sunflower Seeds
- 3 whole Apples, Chopped
- 1 cup Raisins
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a tube or bundt cake pan. Whisk together the dry ingredients and set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together brown sugar, canola oil, eggs, vanilla and bananas. Add the dry ingredients and mix to combine. Fold in the walnuts, sunflower seeds, apples and raisins.
- Pour batter into cake pan and bake for 60-70 minutes (until cake tester or toothpick comes out clean). Remove from pan when cool.
