Deluxe Chocolate Pie

  1. In a double boiler, or a good bowl over a pot of gently boiling water, add sweetened condensed milk, both chocolate squares and salt. Stir constantly while chocolate is melting and blending in with the milk. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes very thick. At this point, add in the hot water and continue to stir. It will thicken but not be as thick as before. Remove from heat and add the vanilla. Pour into your baked pie shell and refrigerate, thus the 4-hour wait. Once it's cold, top with the Cool Whip or your homemade whipped cream. To add a little pizzazz, shave a chocolate bar over the whipped cream. Enjoy!
