Best Banana Bread Ever
- 3 cups Flour, All Purpose
- 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 cups Sugar, Divided
- 1 cup Butter
- 2 whole Eggs
- 3 cups Bananas, Mashed
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips Or Walnuts
- 2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 cups Dark Brown Sugar
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup of sugar.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and remaining 1 1/2 cups sugar till fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add mashed bananas, vanilla and yogurt one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the flour mixture.
- To prepare the topping, mix together the chocolate chips/walnuts, cinnamon, and dark brown sugar.
- Pour in half the batter into a greased pan. Top with half the topping. Pour in remaining batter and finish with the rest of the topping.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes. Cake is done when a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
