Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Sift together first 3 ingredients.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Cream together butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in vanilla, water and eggs.
  5. Combine butter/egg mixture with the dry ingredients; mix well.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in preheated 375u0b0 oven.
  9. Cool on wire racks. Makes 50 to 60.
